Welcome to the Evoloop Journal. This first entry explains the one thing we get asked about most: sizing.
Why we size in millimetres
Most shoe brands size by vague historical conventions. We build each pair from a single, verifiable number: your foot length in millimetres.
Measure both feet, standing, at the end of the day. Use the longer one.
Once we know your length, a standard conversion table maps it to the EU size we print. The table covers the whole EU 35–48 range, so the same measurement works everywhere — no guessing between US, UK or JP labels.
How to measure at home
- Place a sheet of paper against a wall.
- Stand on it with your heel touching the wall.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure the distance in millimetres.
That number is your starting point. If you fall between sizes, size up — our studio advice is always the same: comfort over looks.
An example
| Foot length (mm) | EU size | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 227 | 35 | smallest size we print |
| 260 | 40 | most common for our everyday collection |
| 290 | 45 | upper end of the range |
A few points worth knowing:
- Every product page lists the full size run, so you can check your size exists before ordering.
- The 3D-printed upper is printed to order — nothing sits in a warehouse.
- Orders over $50 include one free little buddy, while supplies last.
